At that time,Qu Yuan, Who had won theconfidence of the king of Chu, had devoted himself to carrying out reform for the revitalizing his beloved county, howover other nobles, led by Ji Shang and Queen Nan. accepted bribes from the Qin's envoy, and so dissuaded the ding from taking Qu Yuan advice and brought about the fall of Chu.
